Pereira: A Tour along the

‘Querendona, trasnochadora y morena’

A Tour along Pereira

All the fun in one single place.

Also known as the City without Doors, Pereira is currently the center of the Coffee Region thanks to its people’s strength, its economy and its kindness.

Named by the poet Luis Carlos González as La querendona, trasnochadora y morena (the bronzed and affectionate all-nighter), Pereira has earned the love of its visitors due to the beauty of its peripheral landscapes. The valley that shelters the city, the forests that surround it, the mountains that go through it, all of them make of Pereira an ideal place to enjoy the Coffee Region’s Natural Landscape.

Go for a walk in the city. Visit its emblematic parks, churches, monuments and colonial architecture. Also, take a look at the Historical and Cultural Center, the first-rate hotels, the world cuisine, and the artistic and shopping centers. Don’t forget the Bohemian Tour: come by the Rincón Clásico, La Milonguita, El Parnaso, El Cafetín, La Sonora Ponceña, San Gregorio o El Pavo, iconic bars and taverns of the city.

Additionally, take the time to taste the fresh fruits sold in different corners downtown as well as merengón (a traditional dessert), figs with cheese, a cup of aguapanela with cheese or cholao at Park La Rebeca.
